Folders I've removed with selective sync are still syncing on my computer
I have recently enabled Selective Syncing in Dropbox and only selected a couple of folders for me to see them on my PC, after selecting them. The rest of the folders that I didn't synchronize, synchronized for some reason. I have tried reinstalling a couple of times, deleting the folders etc., but it would still synchronize most if not all folders for some unknown reason. It just suddenly doing this a few days ago after I saw two folders from my organization synchronize to my folders even though I unselected them in Selective Syncing, they were still there.
+ There are no error prompts on my Dropbox activity or notification, and shows that everything is 'Up to date'. Please help, this issue has taken a huge storage space from the folders I didnt sync.

Hi EnzoDeCastro, thanks for providing these details.
Do you have any apps or services that require files in these folders?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi Jay, no, none of them have apps or services that require files in the following folders. They are the same kind of files I have with the one I have only enabled on selective sync. For some reason, it synced the ones that were also unselected eating up space.

As you can see, the folders are showing on my computer, regardless if theyre Online-only. The point is, I have folders Selectively Synced but how come the other folders are also showing. A few days ago, this wasn't the case.
The folders I have Selectively Synced are the ONLY FOLDERS showing on my Dropbox. But ever since yesterday, this occured. - EnzoDeCastro1 year agoExplorer | Level 3
Selective Sync says this. "Unselected folders won't appear on this computer." So how come they are downloading and synchronizing. This has been a frustrating issue for me..

From the new syncing icons, it looks like you're on the new version of Dropbox for Windows. I'd recommend contacting the support team directly for them to assist further on this matter.

Yes, I've tried using the Beta version of Dropbox in hopes of resolution to my issue, but unfortunately it was not much of a help. I've already emailed Dropbox but they have not responded yet for 2 days now.
