I'm not good at English, and I want to inform you first that I'm using a translator.

 

The problem is simple. Sharing locks the document. Even if it was only shared with one person.

 

Currently, there are more than 4 documents that are locked like that, and the place I am using is Dropbox Paper.

 

This document is a document used for business purposes, and personally, it is very unpleasant to see it locked like this. Is this situation only going on for me?

Hey @antarto, thanks for clarifying this.

 

We did face an issue with Dropbox Paper a few hours ago, so thanks for letting us know.

 

As you can see on our status page now, everything is back to normal, but you can keep an eye on that page, which will give you info on any known outages or issues we face.

Hey @antarto, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

Would you mind clarifying what you mean by "locked"?

 

Are you having trouble opening the Paper doc after it's been shared?

 

If you're getting any errors, please send us a screenshot as well.

This means that a 403 error is displayed even though the ownership of the document belongs to me.
This appeared to both the person who shared the link and the person with the authority of the document, and there was no problem when using it alone. Additionally, when I received a link from someone else and received permission, there was no problem.

 

It's almost 3 o'clock in Korea now, but the error lasted from 10 a.m. to over 12 noon.
This means that I first noticed the error at 10 o'clock.

 

The one I'm using is a Linux based OS, and I sent the link to someone with a different based computer.

Also the browser is using Brave, which is pretty much everything I remember.

 

Currently, all locked documents are opened, but I am very worried because I do not know when this problem will occur again.
I almost threw away everything I wrote from yesterday and today I risked rewriting it twice.

 

Thanks for your attention to this error, and hopefully it can help others who may be experiencing this problem.
