Please, what could be the likely reason for this message.

That didn't work for some reason

If it's a fluke, it might work if you refresh the page. You can also ask us for help.
 
Hope, someone explain this to me and what to do.
NB: the above message pops up anytime i click on a link to a file sent to me.

Can you please let me know if you get the same error after clearing your browser's cache and/or on another browser?

 

If you do, I'd suggest contacting the person who shared this link with you to ask them for more information.

 

In case they deleted the file this shared link points to, they'll need to restore it through their deleted files page
