The latest Dropbox update for Salesforce in the AppExchange did resolve my issues (1.704). I just installed a few minutes ago, and so far, so good. Hopefully no new issues were introduced with this update

Hello! Our company is having the exact same problem since yesterday. Were you able to solve it?
We created a case with Dropbox as well but they haven't fixed it yet.
