I keep all my recipes on Dropbox. When I go to access one I get this message:

The file “Skirt Steak with Calabrian Chile Chimichurri and Crispy Parmesan Potatoes Recipe.pdf” couldn’t be opened because you don’t have permission to view it.

It is my file, Why don't I have permission? Thanks.

Not sure if you saw my last post, but I have a folder for all my recipes on Dropbox. When  try to access one on my computer I gat this message:

The file “Garlic & Herb Roasted Shrimp Recipe | Ina Garten | Food Network.pdf” couldn’t be opened because you don’t have permission to view it. I do not get this message on my iPhone or my iPad, just my MacBook Pro.  Thanks for any help.

Hi @nillydog, let's jump right into this!

As a first step, could you send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting so that we can have a visual too?

Also, what is the desktop app's version and status as shown in your menu bar?

One more thing: can you try to quit the app, and check if you get the same error, while the app is closed?

Keep me posted!
