Dear Dropbox Team, My colleagues and I are experiencing an issue with accessing Dropbox via a proxy. Specifically, we can no longer include a backslash in our username. It appears that this character is suddenly no longer accepted as valid in the Dropbox settings. We have attempted to overcome this limitation by using "/", "%5C", and by omitting the domain, but none of these options have worked. Could you please let us know if there is a way to bypass this sudden limitation and successfully connect to our Dropbox folder again? Hi - my mac has just expired and i can no longer accress it - so I installed the latest version of Dropbox onto a new laptop in the hope of downloading all my documents/files onto its hard drive - however there's nothing there.. Ive signed into my account alright but I'm wondering if having changed my email login a few years ago all my files are on a different account. I had no problem accessing my files on the old computer and as far as I can remember the login details are the same.. Obviously I can't check the settings on my old mac anymore - I'm at a loss of what to do next to gain access.. Cheers.. My account may be under my old email address, and I just tried to access the acount with that address and Dropbox said it has sent a code to that address - however - that email address is no longer in existence, so I can't ever get a hold of the code!!!! Hi Everyone, On my desktop app, my profile and preferences no longer show up on the home page so I can't log out of my Dropbox account. It was working fine on Monday but when I logged in yesterday, the avatar was no longer there. Has anyone had this problem? How do I fix it? The only things showing on the top part of the page are the search box, invite members and view upgrade options. I can't scroll any higher than that. After I finished my trial, the other members received a notice stating that they will have to wait 1 week before being able to log on again. It's been 2 weeks and all the members get the notification that they must wait 1 more day. However, they keep getting this notification and 7 days have passed while being told just one more day. I think the problem is that I deleted everyone from account at the end of my trial. Then, I received an email with a link asking if I want to continue with the plan or disband the members. As I already deleted everyone, there was no one to disband. Now, I'm stuck in this circle where I keep getting emails asking to disband or continue with the plan. No other choice is given and everyone cannot access any other account (I'm told). If anyone know of a way to stop this and free everyone, please let me know. Hi, I am really struggling with the set up of our business account. For background, we are a committee from various organisations, needing access to the same files. When you add a member, it says it will bring over the members personal files. I tested this by adding my personal Dropbox account but cannot find where my personal files would be. When I go to remove my personal account, it asks to keep or delete my personal files.
