Hi Everyone, I need help to cancel a subscription made on an account of a company for which I don´t work anymore therefore I don't have access to the account anymore. The payment was on my personal bank but the account was from the company and is not active anymore. How can I get in contact with dropbox to fix it? Hi! I need help with my account. I have tried to find a way to contact a drop box representative and can't seem to. I had created a gmail account for the purpose of uploading some files for my work which is a non profit several years ago. as of the last 3-4 years, we no longer need or use the account, I have tried reaching out to drop box requesting the cancellation of account and charges to our organizational credit card however I haven't had success and they continue to charge us as a non profit. Last year I went on mat leave and some of our phone systems have since changed. Recently I tried logging in again to prevent further charges to our credit card, and I can't remember the correct password. It is giving me the option to only submit a previously used password or recover the password through a verification text to a phone number which is our office number, and that brings the caller to a menu of options for extensions, so even if a text was sent no one would ever get it. It will not give me another option and I need a way to get into our account to prevent further charges on us as a non profit. I left my job that my dropbox subscription is tied to. The subscription was paid for with my credit card and I was reimbursed. Now that I am no longer working there, I want to cancel the subscription, but the work email tied to it no longer exists/I do not have access to it. I have no ability to log in and cancel it. Because I cannot log in, I can only get "assistance" from the Chatbot which is no assistance at all. I am trying to remove billing for a Dropbox account that I have lost access to both the account and the email address it is linked to. I am currently paying for a premium product that I no longer have access to and cannot contact Dropbox support for help. Their 'chatbot' is one of the most useless I've encountered, they have a billing contact form - when you press submit it simply says 'There has been an error', and a phone system that just tells you to use the support screen in your account and immediately ends the call. These options simply DO NOT work for all scenarios, Dropbox! I can't believe how poorly a company the size of Dropbox can manage customer support. Has anyone any experience of dealing with them? can you offer any advice so I might actually speak with someone, either through phone or email?! I'm at my witts end. I know I have the answers correct, and even get a message saying something like "You can continue with what you were doing..." then another captcha comes up! What gives? Question or Issue Multiple users at the office were sent and email explaining that they needed to use a personal email or pay for an upgrade. Google play store Question or Issue The attached screenshot is the second time I've encountered this screen no subscription detail no upgrade options it's acting like it completely lost track of my subscription and I can confirm that the email that I am on and using for this Dropbox is the one I'm using for the subscription I can confirm it in Google Play so far the only fix I have for this issue is to unsubscribe and wait for cancellation and then resubscribe to get the information back I would like this for not to be the case I also cannot find a restore purchase button as is sometimes discussed just a retry button that does nothing and as far as I'm where I'm on the most recent version of Dropbox though my phone has recently gone to Android 15 in his head to updates.208Views0likes3CommentsOur account was deactivated after successful renewal
Hi everyone, Our Dropbox account appears to be deactivated, even though our subscription was successfully renewed. Our renewal date was August 22, 2025, and our credit card was charged the same day for the following: Dropbox Standard Plan (includes 3 licenses) 60 Additional Dropbox Standard Plan Licenses Coverage period: 8/22/2025 to 8/22/2026 I’ve already submitted a support ticket, but haven’t received any response or assistance so far. Under the Billing tab, I see a button labeled “Resubscribe.” I'm not sure if I should click that — will it charge us again? Or is this a billing issue on Dropbox’s end?
