Thank you for being a valued Dropbox Capture user. After careful consideration, weâve decided to discontinue Dropbox Capture on March 24th. Please note that youâll still be able to use the screenshot tool through the Dropbox desktop app. After March 24th, you will no longer be able to create new screen recordings, audio clips, GIFs, or videos using Capture. The Capture desktop appâand Capture via web accessâwill no longer be available. Good news: Weâre continuing to add new screenshot functionality within the Desktop app. On March 24th, you will be able to use the screenshot tool to capture the exact part of the screen you want to send. You will be able to add extra emphasis to your screenshots with text, shapes, drawings, and arrows. We understand that your content is important, so know that you will not be losing any of your existing Capture images and videos. To learn more about this change, please read this article.Amy10 months agoCommunity Manager1.5KViews0likes29CommentsIntegrating Dropbox Paper with Dropbox

After spending almost an entire week with Dropbox tech support, uninstalling, re-installing, cleaning registries, running command scripts, MULTIPLE TIMES... We were getting nowhere. So, I did some serious research on the web looking for ways to locate and fix Windows Right-Click "Context Menus". I found a utility called ShellExView by Nirsoft. Which pointed to another page ( fix-slow-right-click-crashes-shell-extensions ) with some more explanation on how to use it. Apparently, the problem was that, for some strange reason, as you can see in the screenshot below, the Dropbox âContextMenuHandler Classâ was marked as âDisabledâ. I simply did a Right-Clickover it, and selected to âEnable selected itemsâ. Then re-started Explorer using ShellExView's Ctrl+E option to restart the Windows shell. Please NOTE... Restarting the Explorer shell is an essential step. This should NOT be skipped. And⊠VOILA!!! After a few seconds... ALL of the Dropbox Context Menu items magically now appear!!! For FOLDERS, it shows like this: And for FILES, it looks like this: Hope this helps! All the best, JacobJacobRusso4 years agoCollaborator | Level 85.7KViews0likes14CommentsMeet our Team!
Hi everyone, itâs Theresa here you may have seen me previously on the Community. You may have noticed some users with the title âDropbox Staffâ and wondered who they are and what they do. Iâd like to take a moment to introduce you to our Dropbox moderators - and hey they are real people (not bots ⊠which is rare online these days đ€) who help keep our community running smoothly. You might have also come across some Super Users who are highly knowledgeable and active in the community. Want to learn more about them? Find out here. I'll get the ball rolling... Iâm Theresa, one of the Dropbox Community Managers, and Iâm based in Ireland. I really enjoy jumping into conversations here and getting to know all the brilliant people who make this space what it is. My favourite Dropbox feature? Definitely Selective Sync. It makes my work life a whole lot easier especially when it comes to archiving files. Outside of work, Iâm a musician with a slightly out-of-control collection of sheet music (like thousands of files). Selective Sync lets me store everything and, of course, access it during a performance⊠without my iPad exploding!Theresa8 months agoCommunity Manager748Views8likes12CommentsPrinting a list of files in Dropbox
I've been trying to figure out if there is a way to print a list of files in a Dropbox folder. Turns out there is no such printing option. However, if you select all files with Ctrl + A, all subfolders and files will be selected. Then using Ctrl + C, copy to the clipboard. Next open a new blank Word document and paste (Ctrl +V) to the Word page. All text should appear from the Dropbox webpage. Delete whatever text is not relevant and you'll be left with a list of folders and files.cengelma4 years agoExplorer | Level 311KViews1like12Comments
