Dropbox downloads are saying download failed.
I am not technical. If I click it, it is supposed to work. Anyway, these are links to dropbox files from book authors and other people are downloading them just fine. I checked and I am nowhere close to having a full drop box.
Basically, I click the link. It takes me to the dropbox file. I click the download arrow on the right side of the screen. Then...I click direct download and it says failed to download.
So then I tried clicking the arrow and save to my dropbox . I get...a text box that tells me.. Save womenswork.zip to my drop box and this file will be instantly saved to your dropbox and to all the computers linked to your account. I click save and get a message saying there was a problem completeing my request.
So then I try Extract to Dropbox and it says it couldn't extract the files.
This is not the only author's link that I have had problems with. It has happened to several of them. I have no issues downloading files from bookfunnel, story origin, hidden gems or any of my other book sites, just the dropbox links.
I am on a less than 2 month old DellXPS Windows 10 and am using the Chrome Browser.
Can anyone help a person with no technical abilities to where I can download the files, please? I sure would appreciate it.
Thank you so much.
Hey there Wanderful; thanks for joining our Community!
Could you please let me know if you get any different results after clearing your browser's cache or on another browser?
If you still get an error, I'd appreciate a screenshot so that I can have a visual too.
Thanks a bunch!

Hi Walter,
Thank you for your help. I figured out how to and cleared out the cache and it worked. That is crazy. Thank you so much for your help. I would not have known to do that otherwise. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas or a great holiday whichever one you celebrate. :) Thank you so much. Hugs,
Wanda
