Embed link for audio files not working consistently (was working until last week)
Hello,
I’ve been using Dropbox to host and embed audio files on external websites. The way I’ve been doing this is by changing the link format like this:
Original link:

Link I’ve been using (embed):

I am not on a paid plan, and this method had been working perfectly fine until last week. However, since this week, the embed links suddenly stopped working.
What’s strange is that the link works in the morning (KST), but not in the evening or night (KST). I also tested this with a brand-new free account and the same issue occurs, so it doesn’t seem to be related to account lock or restrictions on my specific account.
This problem is not only affecting me—other users are experiencing the exact same issue.
My questions are:
Is this an intentional change by Dropbox?
Is there any way to resolve this?
Or is this simply no longer possible for free (or all) users?
I would really appreciate any clarification or advice from the community or Dropbox experts.
Thank you!

Have you tried using the raw=1 parameter when embedding the files? You can find the officially supported link modifications in this help article.

It is probably worth noting as well that Dropbox have in the past done things to cause embedding items to not work - Dropbox isnt, after all, a hosting tool or service. So while you can almost certainly fix it with what info Rich mentioned its probably worth looking at a different tool for the job if I'm honest.
