Excel Files not opening to edit in Excel from Dropbox.

Started this week.  On my phone I can open an Excel file in Dropbox as a preview but when I click on the edit button I get the Office Excel opening (Downloading from Dropbox) screen, then it flips to...

I manually uninstalled and reinstalled both the Dropbox app and the respective Office apps on my phone.

 

The issue is still there. Can't edit a Word or Excel file in Dropbox.

    Hi rajma420, does this happen with all of your Word & Excel files? 

     

    Could you send us a couple of screenshots, in order for us to have a visual too?

    I think I figured out that is happens if the Excel file is password protected.

    I used to be able to open it in the Dropbox app, but now it doesn't open. Please advise or fix.

    Hey rajma420, so just to clarify, it does work for Excel sheets that are not password protected?
