Exporting to Instagram problem
I use dropbox to move pictures from my mac to my iphone, and then export them to instagram. Recently, however, when I go to export from my phone, I get a message that dropbox is linking the file and...
- 6 years agoI had similar issue in an Android phone. Try these
1. Make sure you have given storage access to both apps Dropbox and Photos app. Just double check usually it’s on.
2. Go to Dropbox app and tap on ‘3 dots icon’ or More options icon. Then select make available offline.
3. Now go back to Instagram and select the file location of Dropbox to select your image file. It should open now.
It seems Instagram can’t access direct dropbox files yet. They must be on storage somewhere. Cheers

I'm getting the same problem with exporting direct to Instagram feed and getting the "unable to load image" error.
It works fine exporting to twitter, just not Instagram, and worked fine up until a couple of days ago as it was part of my social media workflow.
I'm on a Samsung a40 if that ads anything to the mix?
Exporting the file to the device storage and then adding manually through Instagram is a real pain, lots of steps, have to wait for the image to download, struggle to find where DB saved the file to - the direct export prices was really straight forward.
Thanks :)

It's an Instagram issue, I can confirm. I'm an Android dev and I have an app that does share images and videos to Ig feed, it was worked good for a log time, now it gets same error. I suppose it's an Ig bug or they just changed the way to interact with their app (although didn't mention it on official devs site). This is super annoying!
