How to change the divider online lower, so that I can see all of my content?

On the left side it shows my folders, or a few of them. Then it shows Recents Starred....  I'd like to be able to move then divider way lower so I could see my list of folders and files. In other wor...

    Hey Irene!

     

    Dropbox might not appear in your Favorites any more, but it should still appear on your sidebar, in Locations, would you mind checking?

Using the ridiculous web user interface on a laptop screen is useless. The huge SEARCH, +Create / Upload and other needless junk on top takes up so much real estate that I see only 4 lines of files/folders!!

How do I customize the UI and get rid of that needless junk?
