Previewing TIFF Only Shows First Page
Hello
When I click on a .tiff file to preview, it only shows the first page for that preview. For other files like PDF, it shows all pages. From Dropbox's documentation, tiff previews should be supported up to 200MB files.
Why am I not seeing the preview of all pages for tiff documents?
I spoke to support and they clarified that .tiff files are previewed as images, and therefore only show the first page. Showing multi-page images is not supported.

Hi PhilTerz, how are you today?
Which platform do you use when trying to preview the TIFFs? Are you on the website?
If yes, can you try a totally different browser on your end, and let me know of the results?
Thanks a bunch!

i've tried saving these .tif files into PDF on the web platform, and it still only shows/converts 1 page. How do we handle this to properly show all pages?

Hey renzullk, I hope you’re doing well.
Did you try to preview your .pdf files via different browsers and the same issue persists?
Also, if you try to preview files that were always in a PDF format, can you see all of their pages?

I have tried both chrome and firefox. Both only display one page.
I've tried "Save as " pdf and still only pdf's the first page even though the document has more.
The only way it seems to work is to download the .tif document locally, save as a pdf and then upload, which is very cumbersome.
It also leaves a lot of room for destroying portions of files - where you think you might be saving the file as a PDF on the online platform, but its not fully converting all pages.

Everything is working as it's meant to. Dropbox handles TIFF files as images, not multi-page document files. It's not capable of handling multi-page TIFF files beyond the first page. As you said, you need to download the file and convert it to PDF on your computer, then upload it back to Dropbox.

I've tried "Save as " pdf and still only pdf's the first page even though the document has more. The Save as PDF option is working, by your own account. What's not working is the ability to convert a multi-page TIFF file to PDF because Dropbox handles TIFF files as though they are an image, not a document, and it does not support multi-page images.
The feature is working as it's meant to. It's your file type that Dropbox does not support.
