3 years agoThanks for clarifying that for us KHAIR
Can you please let us know if this happens with a specific PDF file only or all?
Also, what is your device's exact OS version and the version of Safari as well? Have you tried a private browsing window with no plugins or extensions running?
As a test, could you maybe give it a go through another browser and let us know how it goes?

I’m having the same problem. Every time I open a pdf file in safari then click to add the file to dropbox it saves it as .php instead of the pdf file. I always need to put it in goodnotes first then from there into the dropbox. If Dropbox is not capable of capturing the pdf file then why does it appear in the sharing list? And this occurs to ALL pdf files on safari.

This issue has never been solved, most pdfs are not saved as pdf. I always have to save it somewhere else then upload it. Suggesting update is never the solution.

I agree it has been an ongoing issue for a long time on both iPad and iPhone

Hey KHAIR and Wissamgh, thanks for all the info here.
Can you please check this article and let me know if these are the steps you're following?
If not, can you reproduce the issue on other browsers too?
