Single click to open file in new tab - put it back this way
Please put it back the way it was until recently. Or give users the option to set the default of how files open when using dropbox.com
Prefer Single click to open file in new tab (not open in preview pane).
Know that alternates available to open in new tab (double click, ctrl+click) but want to be able to use Single click like I had for years.
Thank you for your consideration.

I totally agree with @KK57!! Infinitely prefer a one-click VIEW - not preview - of a file. I've spent way too much time to looking for a setting that will revert the view to the way it was but I guess that's not even an option. Also, the preview screen is makes renaming a file really awkward since 90% of the file name is cut off to accommodate the preview pane.

An additional irritation with the double-click-to-open default is that the interface jumps with the first click, as the preview opens, and half the time the second click falls on the item above the one intended.
