Hey RayH, sorry to jump in, but I just wanted to ask, have you tried completely disabling Norton -temporarily, as a test- on the affected machine to see if it's causing this issue?

    Hello Walter,

As requested, I disabled Norton temporarily. When I clicked on Log in, the message appeared as usual. So, it doesn't look as if Norton is the problem.

    Kind regards,

    Ray

    Thanks for the update RayH

Would it be OK if I send you an email to have a further look internally at this point?

    Hello Walter,

I assume you want me to give you access to my computer. I do not wish to do this.

Actually, I won't need access to any of your devices, Ray - the email route is the only way to send this to our experts for further investigation.

    Hello Walter,

At 09:47 on the 14th March, I received a version update to 8.7.4 from Norton. At 17:31 on the same day I received your email. When I logged in to Dropbox to reply to your email I noticed that the "There was a problem completing this request" message did not appear. I have logged in to Dropbox a few times since then and the message hasn't reappeared. So, it looks as though Norton was causing the problem.

Hi winifax, let's jump right into this!

Could you kindly attach your screenshot here, because due to security reasons we can't click on your link?

Also, do you get this error message when trying to sign into the web, desktop or mobile app?

    Keep me posted!
