Zip Folder Downloaded from Dropbox 'is invalid'

Hi there,   I've just encountered an issue where by a large-ish zipped file i am trying to download (about 4GB in size) cannot be unzipped / extracted even though it appears to download successfu...

Hi Walter, 

 

I am having the same issue using Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. When I attempt to open or extract files from the .zip folder, I receive the following error message.

How large is the Zip file that you've downloaded, and was the Zip file stored in your Dropbox, or was it generated by Dropbox by trying to download multiple files/folders at once?

    Hi Rich, The size was about 10 MB. It was downloaded to My downloads on my hard drive. Thanks!

      Hey ajknoblich, is the content you're downloading inside a shared link, or does it reside it inside your Dropbox account? 

       

      Can you try downloading or using an alternative zip extractor, and trying there?
