Full DropBox even after deleting files/folders
I tried replying to other posts on this matter but for some reason I was not allowed so I created this new post.
My DropBox says it is full however I deleted lots of files/folders. The status bar briefly showed that I had deleted large quantities of data and I was in great shape however shortly there after it said it was full again. I have one shared empty folder that I am using to setup file sharing and that is it.
Well I am a dumb A%& I totally missed the gigabyte vs terabyte drive limits my bad my expectations were way out of line.

- Preissert5 years agoExplorer | Level 3You are in the company of many dumb assessment and I amust one. I did not notice that the "full" number I was seeing was a percent % not a value. I was reading 121% as 121G of 2T and couldn't figure out how 121 of 2 was full. Doh!

Hi nozomu katagiri, you can login to your Dropbox, account on the site and delete the files from there.
You can also install the Dropbox desktop application and then delete the files from the Dropbox folder which would also delete them from the site.

The Personal Dropbox space bar indicates my account is full, but there are only two files of less than 3MB in the folder. Only files I see are in my Deleted Files folder online.

Hi Harry Adkins, happy Monday!
Can you send me a screenshot of what you see when you visit your account's plan page right here?
Keep me posted, and we'll proceed from there.
