I logged into my account and all my files are completely gone
I logged into my dropbox account and all my files are completely gone. There's nothing in deleted or history. It looks like a brand new account. How do I get them back?

If theres nothing in Events then there is no recovery possible on this account.
So, how long ago did you last log on? Was it over 12 months? If so the data is wiped from the account (you do get emails warning you).
OR, more likely, you have 2 accounts and have actually set a new one up by accident. Did you ever have any computers etc. connected to your account? Do they show at https://www.dropbox.com/account/security

I logged in last month in March 2025. All my files were there. I made some modifications to couple files then logged out. I did not set up multiple accounts. I do not understand why the files are missing. I have had this account for over ten years. No I do not have any computers connected to the account. I log in through the browser.

In that case, do you see any signs of your missing files in your events page?
This is the place where all uploads, edits, and deletions are normally logged, so it should give you a hint sunshineandbeaches1

I have exactly the same problem. I used Dropbox last week and all was fine. Now, the only file I can see is the one I uploaded last week. They are there on my phone, but not on the laptop or desktop. I'm a writer - this is really serious! The chatbot was useless.

If they are on the phone Dropbox but not the desktop or laptop its almost certainly 2 accounts. Add a file to the phone, does it appear on the desktop (or vice-versa)

If events is empty they were never on Dropbox unless they are shared and you have been removed from them - http://www.dropbox.com/share

No, they were not shared links, they were pictures and files I uploaded in numerous file folders to dropbox over time period of ten years. They've been in dropbox. They were in dropbox in March 2025 and I logged in now and EVERYTHING IS MISSING. I'm not understanding why you can't seem to understand the simplicity of my issue

I'm glad I'm not alone. Years of memories and documents have just vanished. I cannot get any decent support for this issue

I already answered this question. There's no events beyond me logging in that day. My files and pictures from over ten years have just disappeared when they were all there in March 2025. I had deleted a few pictures but not the all the files. I'm pissed.

They arent on this account then - and weren't. If they had been deleted in March they would be showing on Events. Every action for at least 6 months shows and lists on events.
