My dropbox folder disappeared without being deleted

(Dell XPS 15, iPhone 13, etc.)
Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
(Windows 11, macOS14.3, etc.)
Dropbox App Version (if using the app)
(200.4.7123 - found in app settings or About section)

Question or Issue
I am a paid user for years. I stored my important files in dropbox assuming it is a safe place. When I tried to retrieve some data from the files today, I found the folder had disappeared without being noticed. I can clearly remember the folder name and files in the folder, but it just vanished. I didn't delete any folder at all. The very few files I deleted recently can be found in the deleted section. It's such a disappointment. And I don't know what to do next. Does anybody has similar experience?
