Version history: more than one a day?

It saves multiple versions (every one that uploads), but, only if it uploads - and often it cannot if another file has it open.
You should see the files at www.dropbox.com/events as an upload AND then also at Version History

Thank you Rich.
I am on a high speed internet connection and as mentioned in my original post, version history provides a daily version of my file (last version modified that day) so Dropbox seems to sync fine. The conundrum is that contrarily to you, I am not provided with any other version that day, besides the last version saved. One file a day, no more and my file is not locked.
So, if you have any suggestion as to why you have multiple daily backups of your files and I only have one a day, I would welcome the solution.

2 years agoHi Sou, does you have the Dropbox desktop application constantly running and syncing throughout the day?
What type of files are you experiencing this with? If you create a text file and edit it once, give it a minute, then edit it again with new information, do you get three versions (the original, the first edit, then the second edit)?
