Banned for files containing malware
Hello there,
I recently got banned for sharing links with malware, however I know for a fact that the files I'm trying to share do not have malware in them. They are accessibility enhancements for people with vision impairments attempting to utilise digital audio workstation software.
I've been banned for high traffic before, but not once have I purposefully attempted to share malware.
As a user of a free Dropbox account, I can't email Dropbox or open a ticket so how can I get some assistance with this? I'd greatly appreciate any help.
Have a great day
TIA
Thanks for the nudge on this UsoT

I have been using Dropbox for a while but now for some reason I can no longer share dropbox links due to some phishing problem, however I am unable to locate the file with problems or get help from support. Any help would be welcome.

They don't answer as I have only the basic Dropbox, so I think that I will have to stop using Dropbox unfortunately.

- santiagorulo2 years agoExplorer | Level 3Dear Walter, I have a similar problem. I had a file that was blocked by malware. I deleted it, but now all my links are blocked. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Hey santiagorulo - sorry to hear about this.
May I ask how long has it been since this happened? What is the exact error you're getting?

Hey dl22, sorry to hear about that!
Do you still face the same issue? If yes, would it be okay for me to reach out via email, in order for us to have a closer look into it?
Let me know!

Dear Megan,
Sure, I would love if you could reach me by email to discuss the issue. Do you have my email or do you need it ?
best,
