Cannot join a shared folder due to violation of Terms of Service
Hi,
I need help regarding an error when trying to join a shared folder shared by a friend. I have enough storage in my own account, and i don't think i'm hosting any shared links. I can't seem to find any solutions to it. Help 😞

Hey there, kinleungl! Hope you’re doing well.
Is the error that you’re getting mentioned in this Help Center article? If yes, then it sounds like your account’s sharing has been banned, indeed.
Let me know if that’s the case, and we can log a ticket for you directly.
Keep me posted for any updates.

Hi Nancy,
my error appears in the article, but I don't know why.
I don't share anything and have enough storage space. - kinleungl2 years agoExplorer | Level 4

Hi Dennis93 & kinleungl - sorry to jump in here, but would it be OK if we reached out via email to have a further look internally?

I also only get the message in the browser - but in the iPhone app you get a much more meaningful message, try that.
