Can't see the progress bar in sync history on a Mac computer

Hi everyone,
Hi everyone,

Does anyone know whether the progress bar on dropbox on Macos can be visible? I’m new on Mac, and on windows, in sync history, there was a queue in sync history showing you which file is being uploaded and how much of that has been uploaded.
On mac, I can see the queue but there is no progress bar showing which file is being synced. All I see is ‘syncing’ icon at the bottom.

You should be able to see which files are attempting to sync in the desktop app by following these steps.

Hi there, mobin68, thanks for reaching out to us again.

Would you mind sending us a screenshot of how this looks on your end, so we can have a visual?

Also, which version of the app are you using and what is the sync status?

You can see that by hovering over your Dropbox icon.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry about this belated reply, I was having trouble sending the screenshot.

Here is the screenshot and here is my dropbox version 196.4.6900

Please ignore the first photo where it says te files are up to date. the second photo says 2 files syncing. but most of the time all I see down below it is "syncing"

No worries, mobin68, and thanks for the screenshots.

Does the app just show you that it's "Syncing..." without a number of files left to sync next to that?

And if so, does it remain stuck like that for a long time? Or just normal syncing time, depending on the number/size of the files you are syncing?

And it does take a long time, yes

Hi mobin68, have you tried checking if there is a limit to the bandwidth in the Dropbox desktop application, which could be slowing the sync process?
