Confused about the new update to Dropbox Backup and where my folders are in Windows
Hi there
I recently accepted a Dropbox Update on my machine. I had previously had it set to upload photos from my phone, as well as my 'Documents', 'Pictures' and 'Videos' folders. This was working fine and I was happy.
Since the update, bizarrely my work documents which are in a subfolder under documents have been synced to dropbox, but they no longer appear in the main Windows explorer folder on the my desktop. I do not want to have to go into Dropbox to access my work and would prefer it stored neatly alongside my other documents as I have done for years. Please can someone help.

Hi ljo1980, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you attach a screenshot showing what you're describing?
This will help me to assist further!

Thank you. The first document shows where the back up has been moved to (it is the folder called 'Jos Richardson' that I am most concerned with. This used to sit in my main documents folder which is shown on the second image.

Could you attach a screenshot showing the Dropbox Backup window in the desktop app?
Additionally, could you check the Dropbox Backup page on the site to see if the files there match what you see in the Documents folder?

This is from the website. I am struggling to find on the app.
This doesn't match the files that have been moved as you will see from my earlier screenshots. I will include the screenshots of what is inside this folder below. - ljo19802 years agoExplorer | Level 3

The 'Jos Richardson' folder used to be in this bottom list above 'Laura Personal'
