Honestly, I don't know what happened! I have done those steps several times with no luck. I would go through task manager and quit all programs running dropbox, then I would restart the computer and the same thing would happen. This time, everything loaded up perfectly. I even have the dropbox app symbol in the tray. Thanks guys!
