Hey Leilac, let's jump right into this!

How do you try to upload these files?

Do you manually upload them using the + sign, or using camera uploads? What type of files are we talking about?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

    Hi Megan

I am in my gallery, and use the share sign to upload photos and videos.
When I do it from Dropbox directly its not as easy for me to view as many at once.
    Thanks 😃

Hey Leilac, can you let me know how many photos/videos you're selecting at a time?

I used to be able to load at least 100 photos at a time, but when this error message came up I thought to reduce the quantity. I reduced it right down even to singular photos and I was still getting the error message.
    Thanks

Hey Leilac - sorry to jump in here, but could you clarify your device's OS version and the version of the Dropbox mobile app installed there as well?

Have you tried clearing the app's cache since you first noticed this by the way?

You can try the following steps to clear the cache on your Android device Leilac

    1. Open the Dropbox Android app.
    2. Tap the menu icon in the top left.
    3. Select Settings.
    4. Select Clear cache.

Once you’ve cleared the cache, log out of the Dropbox app, restart your device, then log back in.

Let us know if you still get the error afterwards.

Hey Leilac, just to confirm, if you were to upload the photos using the + button within the Dropbox app, does it work?

And can you also send us a screenshot of the error?

If you're accessing the Community from your mobile device, you might need to request the desktop version of the site, to see the upload button above the reply box, to attach your screenshot.
