Mac and PC show different folder size and number of files for the same Dropbox folder
I copied a folder on my Mac to a Dropbox folder. When I look at the properties of Dropbox on a PC the numbers are different than when I look at it on the original Mac. Many files are apparently missing? But is it not the exact same Dropbox folder. How can this be?

Hi Notwen01, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you certain that the folder is fully uploaded to the site?
Are any files marked as online-only, which means they'd take up less space on your machine?
This will help me to assist further!

The folder has some 17K files in many sub folders. Is there some practical way to do that? The copy was done many months ago if that makes any difference.

There isn't a method to do as you're asking.
Are you certain that the original folder was fully copied into the Dropbox folder to begin with?
Are there certain files or folders that have invalid characters that can't be read by Windows machines?
