I hope it's okay for me to jump in, randy123!
Can you check this page, to make sure that the "Dropbox system extension" setting is set to "on"?

The dropbox app was installed this morning on my new work computer. I spent most of the day with our IT specialist. He installed it and didn't seem to think the issue was on his side, considering my old computer, installed in the same way, was sitting beside us, working just fine 😞 I only select sync'd a few folders and the dropbox is currently 'up to date'

Hey randy123 - could you clarify if the desktop app is up to date or still syncing in your taskbar?
Also, how long has it been since you first installed the app on this machine? Did you do it with admin privileges?
