My files are waiting to update after backing up and restoring my Mac computer.

I am using a MACBOOK Pro OS Sequoia 15.1.  I recently had my computer backed up and then restored.  Ever since, my Dropbox App is not syncing with my web based dropbox.  This is what it looks like

Andy ideas?

Hi tjadapej! Hope you’re doing well and thanks for your post.

What’s the current syncing status and app version of your Dropbox app?

Also, when saying that you had your device restored, after being backed up, can you send me a few more details on what you mean there? I’d just like to understand what could’ve affected the app’s syncing.

Let me know and we can take it from there.

My MacBook was freezing up, and we couldn't find a reason.  Everything was backed up in the cloud, and the computer was swiped.  We then restored it from the backup.  Since that time, my desktop app has shown the message.

Hey tjadapej, let me also jump in here!

Did you have the chance to check for the app's current syncing status, and version using the steps Nancy provided above?

It'll help us get a clear insight as to whether or not it's trying to sync, or index files. You should be able to hover your mouse over the little Dropbox icon on your menu bar, next to your WiFi in order to locate it.

My files are up to date.  Does that mean they are synced?

Hey tjadapej, yes it looks like it.
Have you tried adding an example file/folder using your app, in order to check if it's going to sync to your account online?

Yes, several times.  Created a folder on my desktop and it didn't appear in my online account.  Created a folder in my online account and it didn't appear on my desktop.
