Screenshots aren't saved automatically to Dropbox after upgrading to Win11
I just upgraded to Windows 11. When I hit Print screen, it no longer goes to my Screenshots folder in Dropbox. A box comes up that shows 3 options. How can I get back to where it captures thethe image immediately and it goes to my screenshot folder in Dropbox?

Hey Leigh19 - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the Community!
Have you tried turning the option to save your screenshots off and back on again through the app's preferences to see if that helps improve matters at all?
If you find the chance, please give it a go and let me know how it goes!

Thank you Walter. Yes, I did. I also turned off the Windows 11 function that caused the snipping tool to come up. Captures are still not going directly into my folder as they were on 3/30/24 and prior, before I updated to Windows 11.

HI Leigh19, could you try these options to take a screenshot on your machine?

Thanks, @Jay I really need to get it back where I just hit the print screen. I must capture things quickly in real-time. It was working fine until I did that upgrade to Windows 11. I hope there is a solution.

Hey Leigh19 - sorry to jump in here, but did you get the chance to try Jay's suggestion yet?
- Leigh192 years agoExplorer | Level 4
Not yet, because I really need it to work with just hitting the print screen due to the quickness of trying to get a capture.

Hi Leigh19! Hope you don’t mind me jump in.
Can you please try Jay’s suggestion above, merely as a test? We’d just like to see if those steps will make any difference.
Also, can you send me the syncing status and app version of your desktop app? You can locate the latter by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray.

I did try it with both keys, it does work, but not for me. I am sometimes off in my timing of both keys. I couldn't get a good capture of a bird with a injured foot flying to a post. It is a split second kind of thing. When I hover over, it says Dropbox 1963.6883 Up to date.
