Sync arrows showing on my files in the Dropbox folder but the app is not syncing
Hi everyone,
I’m seeing the sync arrows next to some files/folders in Explorer, but nothing seems to be actively syncing. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Resynced files
Toggled files between online-only and local
Rebooted my machine
Paused and restarted Dropbox sync
The only thing I haven’t tried yet is completely uninstalling and reinstalling Dropbox.
Has anyone else run into this? Any tips or workarounds before I go the uninstall route?
Thanks in advance!

If a simple reinstall won't cut it, then the next step would be an advanced reinstall in this case Louis22.
Let me know of any updates!

Hi Walter,
Yes, I’ve already gone through those steps.
The only thing I haven’t done yet is to completely quit and unsync Dropbox, delete the Dropbox folder, reinstall the application, and then resync everything from scratch.
That would be the last resort if nothing else works, I’m hoping we can find an alternative solution before going that route.

Have you tried quitting and relaunching the app or logging out from your account and back in through the app's preferences since you first noticed this Louis22?

Thanks for joining us on the Dropbox Community, Louis22.
Would you mind checking the sync status and version of the Dropbox app? To do so, hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray with your mouse.
Also, when did you notice this started happening? Was it perhaps after some kind of Dropbox app update or OS update?
What's your Windows version?
Keep me posted!
