Updates to shared files aren't appearing for me or others
Hello everyone.
I have a problem with files not syncing.
When other users update the shared files I can not see the changes and
when I update the shared files other users can not see the chan...

3 years agoAccording to everything on this page, this file is only visible to you.
Are you certain that this is the exact same file you were invited to? Is the file itself visible on this page, or in a another shared folder?

Technically, this is the shared files section, and not in a shared folder which is a big difference, as this is the only place where that document will get updated by the other users.
The other document you showed me earlier in the root Dropbox folder isn't automatically updated.
If you open that file from the shared files section, it should have the latest information from the other users. If you need to add any new info, you need to open this file from this location to edit it for them to see.

Alright.
So what is the exact Process to open file that has been shared with me and how will I be able to edit it and save the changes so other users can see them, hoe can I save it and open it from my computer without to have to open it from the site from Dropbox enerytime ?

You can view the file and edit it only from this location.
You'll be able to save changes to the file, assuming that you've been given full edit rights to it by the owner.
