Upload crashes in Chrome. What can I do?

New iMAC 24". Updated system, updated dropbox desktop (& beta API, v. 181.4.5678). Fast fiber internet lan connection. Unable to upload a file or  afolder for backup in dropx (have ample space). Th...

      Hi GG_drop, just to sum it up: it seems you're using Chrome to upload content to your account online. 

       

      Now, judging from the last screenshot and the amount of files you're trying to upload at once, it makes sense that the website would crush.

       

      You can either break the amount in smaller batches, or use the app, to upload content to your account, and allow for it to sync online. Can you give it a go, and let me know of the results?

        Tried with Safari and it works to some extent, in chunks of data (which was impossible with Chrome). The reported task I got is quite funny:

        only 20 years left to complete.

        Nevertheless, it working very very slowly but working somehow no.

        Problem left (for the time being...):

        The "updating files" takes forever. Pleaae see:
