"View Sync Issues" full of issues that can't be fixed

Hello, in the "View Sync Issues" is have more than 900 issues reported.

I noticed that most of them were files starting win a dot from some sort of temporary file from my presentations in Keynote.app.

I remove most of those file via terminal app (i handled this with the command: "find /Users/my_user/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox -name ".*" -type f -print0| xargs -0 \rm -rf"). Not those files are gone but DropBox is still reporting me more than 600 issues. How can I solve this boring issue?

I am using Dropxbox Plus client v170.4.58.95 on macOS Monterey ver 12.6.4.

TIA

Hi Cesare G, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you try the steps in this thread to fix the permissions and hard links to see if this helps?

Keep me updated with any progress!

Thanks for your reply; I already tried both fix permissions and hard links but the issues are still there. Any way to force re-syncing the whole DropBox?

Are the sync issues referring to the same locations you previously deleted, or are they for files elsewhere on your account?

Apparently it's the same location, same files, same error reported.

But if I know click on show the incriminated file nothing happens since the file doesn't exists anymore.

Any way to reset that list? Very annoying!

Could you try quitting the Dropbox desktop application, deleting the cache folder, and rebooting the machine entirely to see if this helps?

Unfortunately there is no cache folder in my dropbox install base.

The only hidden files/folders are  .DS_Store and .Trash.

Try reinstalling the app directly, without uninstalling it first, using this link.
