You've hit the limit of invites you can send per day. Try again in 24 hours
I attempted to send one share today and got this message. I am on a basic account, what is the issue and how is it resolved?

Is there a more convenient approach to avoid sharing restrictions while sending to several clients?

In general, it’s the shared links and file requests that take up from your daily bandwidth. If you choose to share files via a shared folder instead, you shouldn’t have this type of issue.

I've just started getting this same error. I've waited a week to be able to share a folder and still getting the same error

I have the same problem. I have shared a folder, but can't send an invite. However, the folder shows as shared, and I can copy the share link, BUT the link doesn't work (results in 404 error). I unshared the folder, did it again from scratch, same thing. And when I try to create a view-only share link, it doesn't allow me.

Hi there markosp, sorry to hear about this.
It sounds like your shared links may have been banned. How long have you been getting this error?
Have you received an email from Dropbox informing you about this perhaps?

This has been going on for months. I remember trying to share a folder a long time ago, didn't work, gave up, forgot about it, and then I tried again now and got the same error message and I decided to investigate further, I googled and came across this thread and here we are. I haven't received any email about it. How do I resolve the issue?
