I have deleted all of my Dropbox files and my account is still over-quota. How come?
I have deleted all my files online and on my desktop and yet I am still over capacity. Is this normal?

Welcome to the Community, dr18.
Besides deleting your files, did you also check your Backups page online? Are there any backups there that are still taking up space?
If not, please send me a screenshot of what you see here.
Let me know what you find.
