All my files are available offline on File Provider, but their folders appear to be online-only.
Using Dropbox v224.4.4811, I updated so that I am now using File Provider. Things work as expected (I think), in that the files are now in ~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox. I always default to files be...

Interesting. Switching from online-only and back to offline doesn't change it, it still has the "Available offline and online-only" marker.
However: if I remove the folder from Dropbox and then return it, it seems to solve the problem.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm including a screenshot example here. In fact, the icon appearing is the "Available offline and online-only" marker, but in each case all the files inside the so-marked folder is available offline.
To your other questions: 1.) right clicking and choosing "make available offline" has no effect on these folders, and 2.) the syncing status is up-to-date.

Thanks for the screenshots! They really help.
It looks like youâre seeing these syncing icons then. Iâd like us to try something different as the next step.
What I want you to do is right-click on one of your folders again, and choose the âMake online-onlyâ option this time (if you can see it). Please wait for the folder to become online-only and the app to be up to date and then, mark the folder as available offline once more. You can try this with the smallest folder first.
Does that make any difference?
