Can't Clear Notification Icon
Dropbox v171.4.182. Windows 10 with all updates.
Dropbox icon in tray shows 1 notification. I have gone to notifications and cleared all of them - none remain. Quit and restarted Dropbox. Rebooted computer. Dropbox icon continues to show 1 notification.
Help!
Kevin
I resolved this by unlinking my group account from my personal account.

Hi zorvek, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you attach a screenshot showing the notifications tab in the Dropbox desktop application, along with all the tabs visible there such as sync history, activity (You and Shared), while hiding any personal information?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi zorvek, there seems to be a new stable build, can you try to install that and let me know if you still face this issue?
- zorvek3 years agoHelpful | Level 6
That is the build that has been installed.

Clarification: Yesterday it was the earlier version. Between then and now, the newer version was installed automatically. The problem persists.

I don't have a group account--whatever that is--so can't "unlink." Still a red icon in my dropbox app.
