Chrome Errors - Aw Snap and Out of Memory
In the past few weeks, I often get Aw, Snap! or Out of Memory errors (only) when using the Dropbox website on a Chrome browser (Windows).
I've cleared cache and removed bad extensions.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Judith

Hi amcoffice, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
We're not experiencing similar issues on our devices. What version of Chrome are you running on your device?
How much RAM does your computer have? Does this occur when Dropbox is the only tab open in Chrome?
This will help me to assist further!
- amcoffice3 years agoExperienced | Level 11My Chrome says it's up to date: Version 114.0.5735.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)My RAM says: 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)I think the errors occur when Dropbox is and is not the only tab open but not sure.Thank you,Judith

Does a similar error occur in another browser?
Could you try using incognito mode in Chrome without any extensions running to see if this occurs again?

I just did Chrome incognito window and did not get snap or memory errors but I sometimes do not get those errors when not incognito.

It does sound like something is affecting the Dropbox site when using Chrome. Do you get similar errors in another browser?

We're still working on this - lots of potential causes, including internet carrier (sigh). I'l be back if/when necessary.
Thank you for the prompt responses.
