Dropbox freezes and crashes my file explorer.
Hello,
I am having trouble with dropbox working through my Windows file explorer. For some reason, within the last week every time I try to navigate to one of my dropbox files the file explorer crashes and I have to force close the program. I can open files from the specific application. For instance, if I open Word and then open a file from word it will open, but if I try to open the same file from the windows file explorer it freezes. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall. Any other suggestions/solutions?

HI Rei3e, are you only getting this issue in the browser, or in File Explorer on Windows?

I'm using Windows 10 Pro. No I was not aware of using advanced reinstallation.
I will try it and let you know if it works.

Okay I tired the advanced installation helped, thank you.
However, I'm having the same issue when opening a Word Document.
The other files seems to open fine.

Hi VEP, does this occur when the Dropbox desktop application is running on the machine?

Hi Jay , yes it happens when I go into the dropbox app to open the Word document.

Sorry, could you clarify what you mean when you say 'when using the Dropbox app'? Are you trying to open the Word file through the Dropbox desktop application?
