Dropbox looks for programme on wrong drive after BIOS update
Hi, I've PC running Win 11 with two drives. C: HDD and D:SDD
I recently moved Dropbox from C to D, and changed the location in Settings via Taskbar.
However, after a BIOS update this week, Dropbox now won't start from Taskbar. (I can still access all my documents by going to the drive). I think it's looking for the program in C.
Here's the error I get each time I click on the icon. Any suggestions about what to do?

Hi Jay
I am having random problems opening some files, even PDFs. Get an error message saying it can't be accessed.
So should I copy all the Dropbox files in the 😧 Dropbox folder to C: drive?

Is this the same error message you showed us in your screenshot here, or a different one?
If it's different, please send us a screenshot, so we can take a look at it.

Hi Elektra, are the files that you get this error with, available offline or online-only?
I'd suggest you copy you folder, just in case and then proceed with the advanced re-install.

Just on the PC.
I will copy all the files and then do the advanced reinstall.

I did follow the steps outlined to change the location.
Bizarrely, today, the Dropbox program is now working and synching OK. The icon has returned.
However, another error is happening. I opened a document that I wanted to edit and save with a new file name in the same folder. But it failed and I got an error message saying it couldn't access the folder. I was then forced to save in main documents again.
