Dropbox non-admin installation thinks I'm out of disk space and needs admin rights
Windows, non-admin installation. Plenty of space left in my account. Plenty of space left on the computer.
This error message recently appeared on 2 of my 3 computers.
There's plenty...

2 years agoHey GertFrobe - sorry to jump in here and thanks for the additional information.
Could you let us know the exact version and status of the app as shown in your system tray on the affected devices?
You can find the latest, stable one on this page, if needed.

194.4.6267
195.4.4995
Both versions have this problem.

Hi again, GertFrobe! When saying Windows 2019 above, are you referring to the Windows 2019 Server perhaps?
If you add files in your local Dropbox folder, do they actually sync to your account online, or has syncing completely stopped on your devices? What’s the syncing status of your Dropbox app at the moment?

Correct, Win2019 server. One of my computers runs server software. It's unusual, but that's how it is. For completeness it's Windows Server 2019 Standard, v 1809, OS build 17763.5576
Everything within the Dropbox folder is syncing properly. I can add or remove files on any of the computers, and the other 2 pick up or delete the files appropriately.
