Persistent update notification after upgrading to MacOS Ventura on M2 Pro MacBook Pro
I've recently upgraded my computer to a new MacBook Pro 16" with M2 Pro chip and MacOS Ventura.
Since making this upgrade, the Dropbox icon on my menu bar is constantly showing a red notification. I also keep getting the notification saying "Dropbox for MacOS is now ready. Update Dropbox to use it on th latest version of MacOS". I have indeed gone through this update process several times, but I keep getting these notifications.
Help and thank you!

HI there Shmerl86, sorry to hear about this.
Could you send us a screenshot of the app's status and version as shown in your menu bar at the moment?
Also, if you check the app's preferences under the sync tab, where's your Dropbox folder located?
Let us know what you find!

Hi Walter,
Thank you for your reply.
Here's a screenshot of the badge and notification I get in the app's menu bar icon:
And here's a screenshot of where the Dropbox is located - my Mac user folder:
I'm not sure what you mean by "the app's version". That doesn't show up on the menu bar icon. But I downloaded the installer from the dropbox website today (8th May 2023) so presumably it's the latest version.
Thank you again,
Amir

I'm seeing the exact same issue on a MacBook Pro 13" 2020 Intel system. I can click on the notification for the update and it runs an update but then does nothing. It's almost like Dropbox fired half their staff and is letting AI handle their support calls!

Sure! I would love to resolve this either way. If possible, someone should share the solution, though.
