Re: The Dropbox website is showing a blank page; not loading
I am having problems with dropbox today and was wondering if anyone else has the same issues. It keep going blank and I can't see any of my folders and I can't open anything up with Adobe. I have never had this happen before. I have log out and also restarted my computer.

Hi all - thanks for flagging this with us and happy Monday!
For anyone still seeing a blank page when navigating their Dropbox account on the website, could you please confirm that you've already tried another browser, clearing your cache or an incognito window and you're still noticing the same behavior?
Let us know if you do and we'll reach out via email to have a further look internally.
Thanks a bunch!

Hi bvrowners, currently there is a known issue with the Dropbox site, however, the engineering team are aware of this and working on a fix.

I'm running into the same problem with getting a blank page on the home screen. I'm using Firefox, tried Chrome, tried Edge. I OCCASIONALLY see a prompt at the top saying something like: "your browser is blocking dropboxcaptcha" and then says I should go fix it. Oh, I finally managed to do a screen capture before it disappeared and I'll attach a copy of that.
I have no idea why several browsers are blocking dropboxcaptcha and what to do to fix it.
Help?

Mine is working again. I didn't do anything different, but was able to log in yesterday. My usual browser, no special procedure. It just worked whereas it didn't before. ??

Hi sewlady, how are you today?
Can you please try a private browsing window without any extensions or plugins running and let us know if you notice any difference?
If I were you, I'd also try clearing my browser's cache, then try again.
Let me know of any updates!

Megan,
Starting Dropbox in:
Firefox in regular mode does not work.
Firefox in private mode works.
Microsoft Edge does not work ('dropboxcaptcha' message), both in regular and private modes.
Chrome in regular mode works.

Thanks for the additional info here, sewlady.
Are you still having an issue with this?
If so, it sounds like you have some kind of security extension/ad-block etc., that's blocking the Dropbox website from loading fully.
Have you tried going through this software's settings to whitelist/allow dropboxcaptcha.com, as mentioned in the error message? And did that help?

Hannah, thanks for your reply.
Yep, I've tried all the things you mentioned (thanks for the reminder), but still no joy. Maybe Mozilla will have a suggestion, as I prefer using Firefox. I'll update if I get any more info.

Hannah, just wanted to let you know that (for some unknown reason) viewing my Dropbox main page has started working TODAY (Thursday 9/15/22) in Firefox. I have no idea why; I didn't make any changes myself. I'm just glad I don't have to fight with it anymore. Or have to use Chrome to view my info.

Thanks for keeping me in the loop, sewlady! I'm happy to see that it works, even though we never found out what was wrong.
However, if you come across any issues again, do let us know and we'll happily look into it.
Have a wonderful weekend!
