Unable to install dropbox
I was encountering problems with my dropbox. When starting my pc I got a notification stating that I had an invalid installer on my device. After de-installing dropbox I wanted to download the program again so I could start my work but when I try to open the installer it gives me a notification saying: installation failed. Installer failed to start.
I've tried almost everyting I found online but nothinh seems to work. Anyone now how to stop this problem? I really need Dropbox to work.

Hey Sam112, sorry to hear about that!
Often, the antivirus (not only your firewall) or security software on your computer will block Dropbox from completing the install or startup process. To see if this is the issue, follow these steps:
Temporarily disable any antivirus or security programs on your computer. Reinstall the Dropbox application using our offline installer.

Unfortunately still the same problem. The loading screen pops up and after one second I receive a pop-up saying the installer wont start.
The screenshot shows the pop-up saying: "Installation failed. Installer won't start." (in Dutch)

Hi Sam112, is this a company-managed device, or is this a personal machine?
Are you installing the app with admin privileges?

It's a personal PC i use to connect to a dropbox for work.
I've tried starting the installer as an admin and still the same result.
Could there be a corrupted file in my PC that I need te delete that is preventing the installer from opening? Just thinking out loud here...

Sorry to hear about this issue with the Dropbox desktop app, finance2.
Do you perhaps have any security programs like an antivirus, VPN, firewall etc. that might be blocking Dropbox?
If so, can you temporarily disable them, to see if that helps?
