Unable to update or install desktop app on Windows 10. Error 0x80070057
Hi
Dropbox on my Windows 10 desktop stopped syncing and required me to update the app. When I tried I got the following error: 0x80070057.
I tried a full delete and registry deletes as per instruction in this link: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Apps-and-Installations/Dropbox-Update-installation-failed-with-error-0x800b010e/td-p/261435 but still the same error.
I have tried running the full 181mb installer but still the same error.
I have also tried disabling my anti virus but same result.
I've also tried installing in safe mode, still the same.
Any advice gratefully received.

Hey TenaciousP23 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you try an advanced reinstall as outlined here and let me know how it goes?
If you still get the same error, please send us a screenshot too.
Thanks!
