Editor Android apps are NOT saving a Dropbox opened edited file

Why can I Not save any of my Dropbox files edited with Android third-party apps like Jota+ Text Editor or QuickEdit or any other .  I can open with these editors apps but really  not save .
When I press save it shows a successfuly msg but it doesn't work .
Why ?

  • Hi Maur, could you clarify the exact steps you used previously when editing the text file via the Dropbox mobile app?

Which text editor are you using to edit files?

Hey Maur, thanks for reaching out to us.

Are you trying to save directly on to the Dropbox mobile app?

How about when you save to your local storage and then upload it to your Dropbox account?

Let me know and we'll go from there, cheers!

Lusil ,  thanks so much for your assistance .
    You are right ,
I am trying to save directly on to my Android Dropbox mobile app as well I did some months ago ,
but now it does NOT work anymore .
BTW , usually that file was previously saved into Dropbox from my Windows Dropbox Desktop app .
First I was thought it was a defect of Android third-party Text Editor softwares ,
I waste months trying to debug them in this way .
    Recently I figure out
    (a) every Text Editor software with the same error in Drobox but they work at Box ,
    (b) by opening and editing the file via Dropbox Text Editor it works .
    So please , yes ,
I want to edit the file directly to my Android Dropbox mobile app as I did before ,
    for instance ,
I am walking in a market and need to change something in a list into a text file .
I will appreciate so much if you can find out something else .

    Jay , hello !
    .
It re-started to work fine just today .
    .
Yesterday I did several reproduces of the error to describe here ,
just now I retry the malfunction to describe the exact error msg but
the behavior had changed , now I received a error about ENCODE ,
something about ENCODE I changed in the "editor setup"
and NOW it is working FINE in Jota+.
During this last night ocurred a Dropbox upgrade to 119.4.1772 ,
and my Android also did several SWs updates , but I did NOT see any
    for Dropbox .
    .
So now I figured out something wrong with ENCODE ,
I may handle my files and Editors SWs about the ENCODE setup .
So we may close this ticket .
Thanks so much for your skilled assistance !
