"Error 403: disallowed_useragent" when trying to sign in to Dropbox to access Excel file
Please help. I'm using a Pixel 6 with Android version 12 updated 7/5/22. I was trying to open an excel file on Dropbox with Excel.
It then brought me to this page saying "Sign in to Dropbox to ...

Sorry I don't know what happened, but when I tried the same thing today, it did not ask me what app to open the file with and directly opened it with Excel.
It asked me if I would like to link Dropbox to either Microsoft or Google (I didn't read carefully), then the file opened without much problem.

I cant figure out how to connect the office 365 app. I feels like it should be really simple but i cant figure it out.

3 years agoHmm, can you open an Office file through our website, to see if you're prompted to connect it that way?
Basically open the file to preview it, for example, an Excel file, then click on the "Open in" button and choose "Excel for the web".

Ok, I connected the Office 365 app in the online browser. However, that does not correct my issue on my phone. How do I allow the MS Excel app to open a file in Dropbox?

Have you tried creating a new Excel file directly from the Dropbox app, to see if that helps?
